π Rewards & Referrals
Rewards motivate users to refer friends and move up your waitlist.
With TheWaitlist.co, you can create tiered rewards based on position or referral count.
1οΈβ£ Understanding Rewards
Rewards are configured per waitlist and can be:
- Text Reward β simple description (e.g., βFree T-shirtβ)
- Stripe Product β connect to a Stripe product for digital or physical delivery
- No Reward β placeholder for non-reward tiers
2οΈβ£ Adding a New Reward Tier
- Navigate to your waitlist.
- Click the Rewards tab.
- Click Edit Reward (or + Add Reward Range if starting fresh).
- Fill in the fields:
- Start Position β rank at which reward eligibility starts.
- End Position β rank at which reward eligibility ends.
- Reward Type β choose Text Reward, Stripe Product, or No Reward.
- Reward Description β short text describing the reward.
- Is Physical Product β check if shipping is required.

Text Reward
Simple static reward description.
Stripe Product
Links directly to a product in your Stripe account for:
- Digital items
- Subscriptions
- Physical items
No Reward

4οΈβ£ Viewing Your Rewards Table
After saving, your rewards display in a table:
- Stripe Product Image β product image if linked to Stripe.
- Start/End β position range for eligibility.
- Reward Type β text, Stripe product, or none.
- Paid Product Name β pulled from Stripe if applicable.
- Price β in your store currency.
- Is Subscription? β Yes/No.
- Is it Physical? β Yes/No.
5οΈβ£ Managing Rewards
- Edit β click Edit Reward to update any tier.
- Remove β click the red Remove button inside a tier editor.
- Add Reward Range β to create a new tier.

- Start with 2β3 tiers β too many can confuse users.
- Mix digital and physical rewards for variety.
- Use clear descriptions so users know exactly what theyβll get.
- Test your Stripe connection before launch.
